Our polyester round slings are made from high quality polyester yarn that makes up the core, covered with a polyester sleeve with a hearring bone weave. The hearring bone weave ensures a good resistance to sharp edges as well as wear resistance. These features result in a longer life span. The slings are produced according to the European standard for round sling: EN 1492-2.
Techlift heavy lift polyester round slings
Heavy lift polyester round slings are available from 10t up to 200t and in lengths ranging from 0,2m to 65m.
The techlift sleeve has a herringbone weave meaning that it is more resistant to sharp edges as well as very wear resistant. These features result in a longer life span. In addition, the techlift sleeve has woven tonnage stripes.
Naturally, all our products are produced according to the European norm 1492-2.

What is the difference between a polyester and Extreema® heavy lift round sling?
The core of a polyester round sling is made of high quality polyester yarn. On the other hand, the core of an Extreema® round sling is always made of 100% high performance fibers such as bio-based Dyneema® , the world’s strongest fiber™, or general HMPE. As a result Extreema® is less heavy at one third of the weight and half the diameter in comparison to a polyester round sling.
What is de recommended D:d ratio for a polyester heavy lift round sling?
Polyester round slings can be used starting from a D:d ratio of 1:1, increasing relatively as WLL increases as well. An overview of the suitablity of schackles and trunnions in combination with polyester round slings can be found under the tab downloads.
